SFS Librarians Published in New Book

Posted: July 7, 2010

Cynthia Grady, Middle School Librarian, and Patt Moser, Director of Information Services, each have published essays in the new book Independent School Libraries: Perspectives on Excellence, edited by Dorcas Hand (Libraries Unlimited, 2010).

Grady’s essay, “Don’t Lose It All: Disaster Planning,” and Moser’s essay, “Faster Than a Speeding Bullet: Technology in Independent School Libraries,” were among the 21 selected for publication.

Freed of many of the restrictions that govern public schools, librarians in independent schools have a unique opportunity to develop new ideas, methods, and best practices, which are captured in the book—the first published about independent school libraries since 1985. Learn more here.
