Halloween Fun

From the youngest to the oldest, Sidwell Friends students donned costumes on Friday to celebrate Halloween.

At the Lower School, children in kindergarten through grade 4 paraded outside, showing off a wide variety of angels, super heroes, cats, firemen, ballerinas, Harry Potters, iPods, and more. Click on the photo to the right to view the gallery of photos taken by LS PE teacher Debario Fleming.

Meanwhile, in the Upper School students in chemistry classes donned costumes for the annual Dress as an Element Day. Students representing mercury, gold, iron, titanium—all from the periodic table—explained their costumes in class. View the picture gallery at right for more.
