By defeating St. Albans 9-7 on May 24, the Sidwell Friends varsity baseball team has made it to the semi-finals of the D.C. Congressional Bank Baseball Classic Tournament. They will play against Maret School at Nationals Stadium on Sunday, June 5, at 9:30 a.m. The winner of that game will play again at 6:30 p.m. for the City Championship against the winner of the mid-day public school semifinal game between Cardoza High and Woodrow Wilson High School.
Come cheer on the Quakers! The full schedule for the day is below. This is sure to be a fun family event—free admission, free parking in stadium Lot C, and free FANZONE on Centerfield Plaza. Concessions stands will be open throughout the day.
