The DC Urban Debate League held its first Middle School tournament of the season at Sidwell Friends School on Saturday, October 15. The SFS Middle School Debate Team fielded seven teams of three (with two alternates), with nine schools in attendance and more than 80 debaters. Debate Team Advisor Burt Nadler reports that the Sidwell team won the first place trophy with 17 overall victories and numerous individual and other team awards. Congratulations!
