Purpose
The Parents of Alumni and Friends Fund has an immediate impact on today's students by supporting financial aid, faculty salaries, and closing the gap between tuition revenue and the true cost of a Sidwell Friends education.
Tradition
Friends are the cornerstone of a Quaker education. Year after year, you have proven to be role models for our students and our entire SFS family, demonstrating that generosity and assistance can come in many forms. This was evident in your involvement in the Parents Association, the assistance you gave and continue to give our students when you share your talents and knowledge with them, and through your support of Parents of Alumni and Friends Fund.
Goals
Barbara and Scott Harris, parents of Colin '09, lead the Parents of Alumni and Friends effort to raise $155,000. We hope to gain support from graduated parents, faculty, staff, and friends of the school.
