It's Tournament Time and the Quakers are Ready
Many of the Sidwell Friends athletic teams are entering tournament season. Boys' soccer kicked off (so to speak) the Mid-Atlantic Athletic Conference on Oct. 25 and will continue competing there through Oct. 31 before moving to the District of Columbia State Athletic Association championship from Nov. 4-9. Girls' soccer will compete in the Independent School League tournament on Oct. 21-Nov. 1, followed by the DCSAA tournament Nov. 4-9. Our cross country teams competed in the MAC championships on Oct. 26 and will run in the DCSAA championships on Nov. 2. Field hockey competes in the ISL tournament Oct. 29-Nov. 1, and volleyball heads into the ISL tournament from Oct. 31-Nov. 3, with the DCSAA competition following from Nov. 5-8.
