Girls' Basketball Finishes First in Tournament
The Sidwell Friends girls' basketball team finished first in the Girls Invitational basketball tournament in Minneapolis, Minnesota with a nail-biting, 60-55 come-from-behind win. Their determination and teamwork is exactly why they're an "easy team to root for."
“I’m so proud of this team," said Keith Levinthal, David P. Pearson ’52 Director of Athletics. "What a tough and resilient group. They gave a special performance tonight, but they’ve been working hard for months preparing for these challenging games. I’m so happy their efforts are being rewarded and on national television, too.”
Congratulations to the student athletes, coaches, and staff that made this exciting win possible!
