We are excited to send along some timely information and also news about SFS summer college workshops coming up later this month and in August. Additionally, we are again sharing some summer ideas during COVID-19, if you have some free time on your hands and want to engage in an activity or two,

SFS Summer Seminar Series - Mark your calendars!

We are excited to offer some Summer Seminars for you! Listed below are the dates/times and topics. Zoom information will be sent closer to the date of the workshop. Please join us!

July 30, 1pm EST: Selective College Admissions - How to Stand Out and Mistakes to Avoid

August 6, 1pm EST: A Step by Step Guide through the Common Application

August 13, 1pm EST: Supplemental Essays - Why are they important and how can you write a strong supplement.

College Admission Testing Updates

Please keep checking your email and the testing websites for SAT and ACT for the latest updates. If you registered for a test that is canceled and you do want to try to take it, we recommend registering for the next available administration. Additionally, keep in mind all the colleges where testing is optional. A listing of colleges and universities can be found here.

The Common Application 2020-2021 available August 1

The Common Application 2020-2021 will go live in two weeks! You can create an account now by using this link, and feel free to start entering in basic data information. Also make sure to attend the SFS Step by Step Guide to the Common App on August 6 at 1pm.
