College Admissions Testing Updates

Please keep checking your email and the testing websites for SAT and ACT for the latest updates. If you registered for a test that is canceled and you do want to try to take it, we recommend registering for the next available administration. Additionally, keep in mind all the colleges where testing is optional, a comprehensive listing can be found here.

The Common Application 2020-2021 opens August 1

The Common Application 2020-2021 will go live this coming week! You can create an account now by using this link, and feel free to start entering in basic data information. Also make sure to attend the SFS Step by Step Guide to the Common App on August 6 at 1pm.

Applying to the University of California?

The UC system has their own application and you can find it here. Important to note: the UC application also opens August 1 for the fall 2021 admissions cycle. In addition, the deadline for regular decision is November 30. Lastly, the application has personal insight questions, those prompts can be found here.
