This past Wednesday CCO held an Optional Lunch and Learn session on applying to the UCs. Please see attached for the presentation.
You are in the home stretch, Thanksgiving is coming!
To help keep you on track, please take a few minutes to read the following updates and information.
November and December "to do" list and important dates:

PAST DUE, November 17: Last day for seniors to complete transcript requests and submit writing for review for colleges with a deadlines of Nov 30

November 29: Last day to make transcript requests for your final list of schools. Also please refer to your Naviance "Colleges I am Applying to" list to make sure that this list is current and up to date. Your Naviance College List reflects the colleges you have officially placed transcript requests for

November 30: UC application due date

December 13: Last day to submit essays for review for colleges with January deadlines
Check your Applicant Portals for Early and Rolling Applications
This weekend is a good time to take a quick moment to login your application portals and confirm that your school documents have been received. If you notice that something appears to be missing, please email or speak with Ms. Moore, School Registrar. She can answer your questions or help resolve any concerns. Please note that Ms. Moore is continuously submitting first quarter requests and you are welcome to speak with her with any questions regarding submissions.
Transcript Request form
For applications due November 30 - the form is past due (November 17). If you have not done so, please submit a form for each college application.
For applications due January 1 or later - submit the form by November 29 for each application
Requesting First Quarter Grades to go to the Colleges
Remember that there are two instances when first quarter grades would be shared with the colleges, either the grades are requested, or you volunteer them. Please use the following link for any first quarter requests. Please allow the registrar approximately five business days to submit your request(s).
Scholarship Spotlight:
High school seniors nationwide who demonstrate leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship are invited to apply for the 2022 GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program. This program annually provides college-bound students with $10,000 renewable scholarships - up to $40,000 total per recipient - and supports them as they lead and serve in college and beyond.
Applications for the 2022 GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program will be accepted online until Jan. 6, 2022. Additional information, eligibility requirements, and a link to the application are available online.
