It’s no surprise that our alumni want to come back to campus to visit favorite teachers, participate in classroom discussions, and cheer for the Quakers – and we are eager to welcome you! Please be aware of the following procedures that will help facilitate your visits to Sidwell Friends: 

Advance Planning During School Hours (8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.)

Please contact alumni@sidwell.edu to arrange your visit at least 24 hours in advance. Upon confirmation, check-in at Campus Services in the garage where Security will provide you with a guest badge. A government issued photo identification is required. A member of the Advancement Office will greet you and facilitate access to campus to meet with pre-scheduled faculty and staff.

Spontaneous Visits

If you arrive on campus without an appointment, please check-in at Campus Services in the garage where Security will assist you. Government issued photo identification is required. Members of our Security Team will contact the Advancement Office who will assist you as they are available. You are encouraged to schedule an appointment in advance as spontaneous visits may be disruptive to teachers and students during the school day and access to campus may not be possible.

After School Hours

You are welcome and encouraged to attend games, performances, and other scheduled events on campus open to the community.  No appointment is needed; just come on by!
