Joy filled the air as alumni returned to reconnect and reminisce.

Reunion Weekend 2026 was filled with hugs, laughter, reconnection, and spirited reminiscing as classes, in particular the 50th class of 1976, came together to celebrate the Sidwell community past and present. Throughout the weekend, alumni gathered for special events and receptions, open door classes, a hard-hat tour of the soon-to-be-complete Upper School, a service project, and of course, the Senior Run—Sidwell’s version of a Pamplona-like running of the bulls! One dinner celebration featured the presentation of the Distinguished Alumni Awards. Awards went to Michele Thoren Bond '71, Marek Mirski '76, Patricia Peyser Permutter '81, and Elizabeth Wilkins '01. Watch the tribute videos of the awardees.
