Coach Info

Eric Singletary '93 has been head coach of the boys' varsity basketball team since 2008. Following high school, he was a four-year letterman at Rice University. He played basketball professionally in Germany, and Portugal, and stateside in the International Basketball League.

As a proud alum, the 2023-2024 season marks Coach Singletary's 16th season leading the Quaker program. During Coach Singletary's career, this program has achieved some notable accomplishments, winning outright or sharing seven Mid-Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAC) Championships, three District of Columbia State Athletic Association (DCSAA) Championships, and one Geico State Champion National Invitational Tournament Championship during the 22/23 season - the Quaker's first boys basketball national title in school history.

Coach Singletary has been named the Washington Post All-Met Coach of the Year (2021-2022) and a three-time DCSAA Coach of the Year.
