Sidwell Friends

The Upper School Golf team is managed by Jon Mormino, along with Coaches Dominic Lee '00 and Xavier Curtis '06. The mission of the program is to foster a passion for golf among a diverse group of players – from ones who have been playing for years to ones who are newer to the game. A Middle School program established in 2021 provides a developmental experience to prepare interested players for the Upper School team. The team aims to lead the Mid-Atlantic Conference in playing excellence and mental toughness by creating a close-knit, hard-working, and fun team environment. Andrew Ludwin '23 (Colgate '27) was co-medalist at last year’s MAC Tournament. The team looks to further that achievement by competing for a team championship this year.
