Conversation with Friends

Conversation with Friends is a new event model designed to help Sidwell Friends community members engage with each other on a topic or area of interest. Modeled after the Dinner by Design program, Conversation with Friends is meant to create space for intimate, meaningful conversations around any number of topics, including current events, personal and professional pursuits, volunteer experiences, shared interests, and much more.

Author Joan Paddock Maxwell, author of Soul Support: Spiritual Encounters at Life's End, will share her remarkable experiences as an interfaith hospital chaplain serving dying patients. She will offer information, inspiration and practical ways to help overcome our fears and provide comfort to dying loved ones.
