After close to 40 (!) years of dedicated service to Sidwell Friends, Steve Sawyer is finally retiring. It will not be the same at the school without his dedication, many talents, constant calm and patience, and Quaker understanding.

The Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle Alumni Clubs invite all alumni, parents of alumni, and former faculty and staff on the West Coast to join them for a virtual Meeting for Worship followed by an informal social reception. Members of the clubs were inspired to partner together to make the most of our current virtual landscape and connect more broadly with alumni who live beyond their immediate geographic regions!
We'll spend the first portion of the event gathering in a Meeting for Worship on Zoom and then will spend the second half of the event informally socializing with each other in multiple small groups using breakout rooms.
