A Sidwell Friends education is about more than classroom learning. We are a community that gives our students the tools they need to develop their own interests and lead their best lives.
Because students are deeply interested in multiple fields (violin and soccer, or Spanish and computer science, for example), I often overhear hallway arguments about economics turn into insights about sociology, or current event updates morphing into unexpected physics puns. I feel as though Sidwell Friends students are engaged with and connected to the world around them, unafraid to connect principles from their schoolwork to broader conversations. – 12th Grade Student
