We are proud to announce the launch of The Sidwell Friends Fund. The Fund is the successor to the annual fund that many of you have supported over the years and decades. But The Sidwell Friends Fund is not just a new name for an old idea. It represents a reaffirmed commitment to our generous donors who have supported Sidwell Friends School year after year.

When you support The Sidwell Friends Fund, your gift makes a meaningful impact on each year’s highest priorities which include: supporting students through financial aid, providing faculty with development opportunities, and creating engaging experiences for our students.

These three priorities have always been and will continue to be at the core of the Quaker education at Sidwell Friends.  Below is a snapshot of the impact of annual support through The Sidwell Friends Fund.  We are grateful for your considering supporting this important work.

Together, as alumni, parents, grandparents, and friends, there is no better way to show your support for the School than through your contributions to the Fund. It will ensure that our students receive the educational experience we all value in an institution that reflects the diverse experiences and perspectives of our nation’s capital and its neighboring communities.

Annual Leadership Giving Levels

Gifts received annually by Sidwell Friends School at or above the leadership level ($1,883 or more) make up a significant proportion of giving totals.

Leadership gifts in support of the School’s key priorities have the power to transform the Sidwell Friends experience for everyone in our community. They provide for Sidwell Friends today and strengthen our foundation for the future.

Generous donors who make a gift to the 1883 Society ($1,883) or more receive special recognition in our Report on Philanthropy and an invitation to the annual Loyalty and Leadership Reception. Donors at higher giving levels are acknowledged as members of the giving societies shown below and receive additional invitations. Gifts are recognized each year during our fiscal year which is July 1 – June 30. Please contact an Advancement Teammate to learn more or to discuss your philanthropy.
