Your gift to The Sidwell Friends Fund makes an immediate and meaningful difference in the lives of students and faculty. Each year, the Fund supports the School’s highest priorities, which include financial aid, faculty professional development, and engaging student experiences.

Annual gifts represent the second-largest revenue source for the School and enable us to extend and enrich learning beyond what tuition alone can provide. These gifts ensure continued innovation and excellence in programming that is developed through strategic choices rather than compromises.

To support this important work, a dedicated group of current parent and alumni volunteers have joined The Sidwell Friends Fund Leadership Committee. If you are interested in supporting the School and joining this committee, please click here. The work that our volunteers do is invaluable and greatly appreciated.

Together, as parents, alumni, grandparents, and friends, there is no better way to show your support for the School and our students than through your contributions to the Fund. Your generosity strengthens the Sidwell experience and helps light the way forward for the next generation of ethical leaders. We are grateful for your support.

Annual Leadership Giving Levels

Gifts received annually by Sidwell Friends School at or above the leadership level ($1,883 or more) make up a significant proportion of giving totals.

Leadership gifts in support of the School’s key priorities have the power to transform the Sidwell Friends experience for everyone in our community. They provide for Sidwell Friends today and strengthen our foundation for the future.

Generous donors who make a gift to the 1883 Society ($1,883) or more receive special recognition in our Report on Philanthropy and an invitation to the annual Loyalty and Leadership Reception. Donors at higher giving levels are acknowledged as members of the giving societies shown below and receive additional invitations. Gifts are recognized each year during our fiscal year which is July 1 – June 30. Please contact an Advancement Teammate to learn more or to discuss your philanthropy.
